Welcome to Barnes Hockey ClubBarnes is a thriving and lively Hockey Club situated in south west London.
The Club caters for all levels of hockey with seven men's and six ladies teams ranging from Ladies National League hockey through to more local, social leagues. We have had recent success in mixed hockey winning two trophies last season and also have a growing juniors and colts section.
The Club is friendly, very social and benefits from great facilities, including a new water-based astroturf located at Dukes Meadows, Chiswick. Our Clubhouse benefits from being close to Barnes Bridge train station and is popular for Barnes teams and opposing teams to socialise after matches.
Additionally we are proud to be a part of the Go South Go consortium and have been named in the 2012 Pre-Olympic Games Training Camps (PGTC) guide. Click here for further information. |

Social Scene
Off the pitch, the Club thrives on forgetting the serious matter of hockey and with 13 active teams, we have a very lively social scene at Barnes Hockey Club. Events include quiz nights, curry nights, pub golf, rounders tournaments and monthly prize draws, culminating in the End of Season Dance which has become the stuff of local legend and is not to be missed!

Club Trials - Saturday 11th September @ Dukes Meadows
12.00-14.00: Men’s trials
14.00-16.00: Ladies’ trials
(Beers for guys who want to stick around for the mixed afterwards)
16.00-18.00: Mixed Tournament (either a game or mini tournament)
18.30-20.00: BBQ at Clubhouse
20.00 onwards: Barnes pub crawl |
